I led the UX/UI and interaction design, creating a safe, curated experience that promotes reading through short, story-driven conversations using text and voice, positioned as a companion to the physical book. The interface was conceived as a sober and discreet framework that enhances the original illustrations without competing with them, supported by a color palette inspired by the character’s French origins, subtly reinforcing its cultural identity. The design was systematized using atomic design principles, with documented components and design tokens to ensure consistency and scalability, while responsible usage was reinforced through limited sessions, proactive prompts encouraging offline activities, and a secure, PIN-protected adult area, resulting in a controlled digital extension of the book’s narrative universe.

I led the UX and UI design, defining core user flows from delivery notification to pickup to create an experience that mirrors the service itself: fast, simple, and intuitive. In parallel, I developed the visual identity, translating the brand’s provocative concept into a minimal and contemporary system that reinterprets infernal symbolism through refined graphic elements and playful visual metaphors. The project concluded with the systematization of the interface into a cohesive UI kit, design tokens, and high-fidelity interactive prototypes, ensuring consistency, scalability, and a strong integration between product logic and brand expression.

The redesign focused on simplifying a complex and feature-heavy product into a clearer, more intuitive, and self-service experience. Navigation and workflows were reorganized to improve usability, and complex text-based rule settings were transformed into a visual rule builder that made configuration easier and more accessible. The project also introduced a cohesive visual system and consistent feedback patterns, ensuring clarity across the platform and creating a scalable foundation to support future growth.

The rebranding was built around the concept Out of the Box, reflecting a philosophy of breaking structures and pushing creative boundaries. The new logotype features a clean and elegant form that conveys movement and dynamism, preserving the original brand’s recognizable connection between the words through the “E.” Its multifaceted construction symbolizes versatility and expansion, while the vibrant convergence of colors within the “E” evokes the energy of dance, light, and music.
